DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Your Adventure, Day by Day

We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will explore Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Night in Cusco.
Departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the archaeological site and market of Pisac. After a buffet lunch in Urubamba, we will explore the fortress of Ollantaytambo before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.
We will go up very early to the citadel of Machu Picchu to watch the sunrise. We will have a 2-hour guided tour of the main temples and enclosures. In the afternoon, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo and then by private bus to your hotel in Cusco.
Main day! We will go to the three stages of the Sun Festival: Qoricancha, the Plaza de Armas, and finally the impressive ceremony at Sacsayhuamán. Includes box lunch and numbered seat to watch the performance of more than 800 actors on stage.
Morning free for shopping for crafts or walking around the San Blas neighborhood. At the coordinated time, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
