Your Adventure, Day by Day

We start early at 6:00 a.m. traveling south of Cusco. We will pass through Ocongate to see the local market and arrive at Tinqui, where we set up our first camp. It is a calm day for your body to get used to the height of the Quispicanchi region.

We will walk through pampas full of llamas and alpacas. We will see for the first time the face of the imposing Nevado Ausangate. Upon arriving in Upis, you can immerse yourself in its natural hot springs under an incredible sky.

We will climb to Abra Arapa (4,800 m). The view of the glaciers will take your breath away. Then we will go down to the Pucacocha Lagoon, famous for its reddish waters that contrast with the white of the snow.

Today we conquer the highest point: the Palomani Pass (+5,200 m). You will be in the heart of the Vilcanota Mountain Range. It is a demanding day but the visual reward is unique in the world. We will sleep in Chilcapinaya.

We will cross the beautiful Jampa Valley, where you will see the shepherds in their typical costumes. We will visit intense blue lagoons like Ticllacocha and camp in Pachaspata, next to the Qomercocha lagoon.

We will go down to the little town of Pacchanta. More hot springs await us here to relax our muscles after so many days of walking. We will enjoy a special last dinner with the team.

We walk the last stretch back to Tinqui. There our private transportation will pick us up to take us back to the city of Cusco, arriving in the afternoon with a heart full of memories.
