DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Your Adventure, Day by Day

We left at 4:30 a.m. towards Capuliyoc. After visiting the Sayhuite monolith, we will descend to the impressive Apurimac Canyon. We will have lunch in Chikiska and climb to the Santa Rosa camp, where the heat of the valley will welcome us.

We will go up a zigzag path to Marampata. From here, the views of the mountains are incredible. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the citadel of Choquequirao to explore its squares and terraces with the magical light of sunset.

We dedicated the morning to getting to know Choquequirao in depth. Then we went up to the pass and went down to the terraces of Pinchiunuyoc. We will end the day at the Río Blanco camp, in a jungle and mysterious environment.

A strong but beautiful day of ascent. We will climb from the jungle to 4,000 meters above sea level in Pajonal. You'll see the landscape change from tropical green to stone mountains and old mines. Hot dinner under the stars will be the best prize!

We will conquer the San Juan Pass (4,210 meters above sea level) with views of the glaciers of the Vilcabamba mountain range. We will go down to Yanama and then a transport will take us to Lucmabamba, where we will sleep in a local coffee farm.

We will walk along an original section of the Inca Trail to Llaqtapata. From there, you will see Machu Picchu in the distance for the first time. We will go down to Hidroeléctrica and walk along the train track until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes.

We will enter Machu Picchu early for the tour through Circuit 2. You will enjoy the history of the Incas before returning to Cusco on the exclusive Vistadome Train, with panoramic roofs so you don't miss a single detail of the landscape.
