Hotel pickup and departure from Cusco
Between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to start our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Visit to Chinchero
Our first stop will be in the town of Chinchero, known for its Inca and colonial heritage. We will visit its agricultural terraces, its colonial church built on Inca foundations, and witness a demonstration of the ancestral textile-making process.
Exploration of the Moray archaeological complex
Then we will head to Moray, a unique archaeological site composed of circular agricultural terraces that functioned as an ancient Inca crop adaptation laboratory.
Visit to the Maras Salt Mines
From Moray, we will continue to Maras to visit its famous salt mines: more than 3,000 salt ponds on stepped terraces, used from pre-Inca times to the present.
Ollantaytambo Fortress
Our next stop will be in Ollantaytambo, where we will explore its impressive fortress, terraces, temples, and structures that preserve Inca urban planning. This site was also the scene of an important battle during the Inca resistance.
Buffet lunch in Urubamba
After our visit to Ollantaytambo, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch with a variety of Andean and international dishes.
Pisac Archaeological Complex
In the afternoon, we will visit the Pisac archaeological complex, famous for its extensive agricultural terraces, ceremonial enclosures, and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.
Return to Cusco and end of the tour
We will conclude the tour by returning to the city of Cusco, with an approximate arrival at 7:00 p.m., after a day full of culture, history, and unforgettable landscapes.
