Start: Yanahuara Viewpoint
We will start by picking you up at your hotel to go to the famous Yanahuara Viewpoint. We will enjoy a classic view of Arequipa with its Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes before moving away from the city center.
Exploration: Añashuayco Sillar Quarries
We will arrive at the active quarries. Here you will see artisans at work and be able to photograph the giant carvings on the sillar stone walls, such as the facade of the Church of La Compañía. You will learn why this stone is the soul of the White City.
Adventure: Walk in the Culebrillas Ravine
We will venture into the Culebrillas Canyon. We will take an easy walk along the canyon bed, admiring the whimsical shapes of the rocks. We will see the Culebrillas petroglyphs, ancient drawings that are a Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
Optional: Adrenaline and Return
For the most adventurous, there is the option to do a short rock climbing session (check availability). Finally, we will return to the city of Arequipa, leaving you at your hotel or near the Plaza de Armas.
