Hotel Pickup and Departure from Cusco
Our adventure begins between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will head south, on a journey of approximately 2 hours to the town of Cusipata.
Breakfast in Cusipata
Upon arrival in Cusipata, we will enjoy an Andean breakfast to prepare for the hike.
Transfer to Llacto and Start of the Hike
From Cusipata, we will continue by vehicle for 50 minutes to the community of Llacto, the starting point of our hike to Vinicunca Mountain. The ascent lasts approximately 2 hours and takes place through beautiful Andean landscapes.
Arrival at the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)
Upon reaching the summit, over 5,000 meters above sea level, you will witness a unique natural spectacle: a mountain dyed in a range of natural colors due to the mineral composition of the soil. You will have free time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the panoramic views.
Return Hike and Lunch
After exploring and relaxing at the summit, we will begin the return hike to Llacto, from where we will transfer back to Cusipata to enjoy a typical buffet lunch.
Return to Cusco and End of the Tour
After lunch, we will start the return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m., thus concluding an unforgettable day.
