06:30 AM: Pickup and Trip to the National Reserve
We will start the pickup at your hotel in Arequipa. We will leave the city heading towards the boundary of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, enjoying the view of the imposing Misti volcano.
09:30 AM: Queñua Forests and Wildlife
We will cross a forest of queñuas (Andean trees) while observing the typical flora of the area. Along the way, it is very common to see herds of vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas that freely inhabit this ecosystem.
11:00 AM: Exploration of the Salinas Lagoon
We will arrive at the Salinas Lagoon. We will have time to walk along its white salt edges, observe the flamingos, and take incredible photos of the volcanoes reflected in the water (depending on the season).
01:30 PM: Lojen Thermal Baths and Lunch
We will visit the surroundings of the Lojen volcano and enjoy a relaxing bath in its thermal waters. Then, you will have free time to enjoy a traditional lunch before starting the return trip.
04:30 PM: Return to Arequipa
We will be back in the city, dropping you off at your hotel entrance so you can rest and enjoy the Arequipa nightlife.
